The house has been carefully decorated to its proud Italian owners’ taste and is set in 2 acres of impressive land towered by a 400-year-old oak providing a perfect hideaway from the sun. Among the other wonderful features of this property, the sheltered porch is a perfect place to relax and enjoy an “al fresco” feast.

For those who wish to take a swim, a newly built outdoor swimming pool is available with its own private pool house (shower/toilette, changing room and living/dining room).

The pool is suitable for all ages as the Roman steps lead down to the shallow area progressing into the deep end, ideal for diving. You will find many leaflets and maps of the area on hand, which will help you to explore this historical and cultured region.

Near by,worth visiting are an archaeological sites of the Roman Age along with buildings and castles of the Medieval Period (6th and 7th Century).Summer is rich in many events including festivals, historical commemorations, open air Opera and sporting competitions which allows the tourist to become acquainted with the popular traditions of the zone.

In Serrapetrona (4km) they produce many particular sweets as well as a well known Spumante (Vernaccia di Serrapetrona) which has the D.O.C.G guarantee of quality. Being just 40-50 minutes away by car from both the mountains and the sea leaves you with a wide range of possible excursions- there are many leaflets and local maps to help you plan.

Notes to the accommodation and facilities:

• The pool is 10 x 5 metres. The shallow end is 1.20m and the deep end is 2.10m.
• For those who enjoy outdoor activities there is lawn croquet with its full equipment.
• The kitchen has a four ring stove and the oven is an electric portable type which cooks everything from cakes and roast meats to vegetables, fish and etc. There is also a toaster.
• Sleeping options are variable: you can have 6 single beds and 1 double bed OR 4 single beds and 2 double beds. Three rooms can have 2 singles in each and one room can have 1 double or two rooms can have 2 singles in each and the other two rooms can have a double bed in each.
